Braided Bun Loaf

Made using our Sweet Bun Dough, baked with either a filling of Blue Berry Conserve, or Caramel Paste & Californian Walnuts.

After baking a coating of Sugar Glaze, and finished off with a drizzle of white sugar Fondant.

Just like our Iced Fruit Loaf (around the same size) it is ideal for sharing at morning or afternoon Tea with friends or family or even as a desert.

Although this particular Bun is best described as a Braid it correctly termed a “Faux Braid”. When being made it is rolled, and cut in such a way making it easy to “Pullapart”.

Birthday Cake

Light Sponge Cake with a coating of our Mock Cream.

If you need a cake in a hurry, we usually have a 1/8 slab, ready to pack, available.

Our regular cakes are usually Vanilla, however Chocolate sponge can be ordered.

Talk to us about having one decorated to your own personal theme with your own personalised message handwritten across the top.

Our Regular standard size is a 18cm square. We describe this one as a “one eighth slab”, our next size bigger is “one quarter slab” (rectangle), “one half slab” (square), and “full slab”(rectangle).

 

Whole Grain (Multi- Grain)

Just like our white Flour (unbleached) and Wholemeal Flour, the Grain we use for our Daily Fresh Baked Multi-Grain Bread and Bread Rolls comes from an Australian Family Owned Flour Mill. http://benfurney.com/

The mixture of grains we currently use are:-Wheat, Triticale, linseed, Corn, Mung Beans, Rye, Soybeans, Chick Peas, Canola Oil (content may vary due to seasonal availability).

Although some of these grains are softened before we receive them, our process involves a further softening process.

Salad Wraps

Using Fresh Iceberg Lettuce, Carrot and Tomatoes (variety depending on season). Cheese, and a choice of either Sliced Ham (97% fat free) or Roast Chicken (chopped pieces).

These are made and packed ready to go (unless you call in real early, we can then make one to suit your preference).

Having a function and would like a tray. let us know at least a day before and we’ll be happy to help.

NB: Salad Wraps are normally only available on normal Weekdays. Weekend orders by prior arrangement only.

Sandwiches

We make our Sandwiches using Today’s Freshly Baked Bread.

Our regular Salad Sandwich has Fresh Iceberg Lettuce, Carrot, and Tomatoes (variety depending on season). Sliced Beetroot Cheese and either Sliced Ham (97% fat free), or Roast Chicken (chopped pieces).

Other choices are (Egg and Lettuce), (Curried Egg), (Chicken and Mayonnaise), (Ham and Cheese), (Ham, Cheese, and Tomato).

These are made and packed ready to go (unless you call in real early, we can then make one to suit your preference).

Vanilla Slice (Australian)

Just like the Lamington, what we consider to be an Australian Icon. We are sure there could be quite an argument of where the vanilla slice originated.

Regardless, we feel it doesn’t matter where it came from. If you are reading this, most likely all that matters is where you can get one.

Consisting of a layer of firm Vanilla Custard, (hence why it gets the tag “Engine Mount”, Snot Block”, “Phlegm Cube”, and the list seems to go on) Sandwiched between two layers of our own rolled Puff Pastry.

A layer of our whipped Icing on top creates a flavour to be sought.

Just to clarify, French Vanilla slice is one of our lines as well. Using a different custard recipe, more layers of our rolled Puff Pastry and a Sugar Fondant topping instead of a whipped sugar icing.
